Dear Internet, pranks/humor/satire are not not done by outright lying about things; they&#039;re clever, they have a point, and are in good fun. When the reaction is \"I hope this isn&#039;t a prank because this is awesome,\" you&#039;re doing it wrong.  Civilization V&#039;s Extreme Diplomacy Death Match is funny. Another thing that&#039;s funny is that if Duke Nukem Forever was not canceled, it was scheduled to go gold &#111;n April 1, 2010 which is just completely fitting for that game. Alas, it did it canceled and it didn&#039;t go gold yesterday.   Sony added ten new games to their Greatest Hits catalogue yesterday! Amongst these games are Killzone 2, inFAMOUS, and LittleBigPlanet Game of the Year. All of these games are completely rad and deserving of your attention if you haven&#039;t gotten around to buying/playing them yet. Do so. They all get the Trent seal of approval.  Speaking of games which get the Trent seal of approval, Just Cause 2 is getting &#111;nline statistics. This is neat because, well, uh, it&#039;s Just Cause 2 and I had no other reason to include it in this Daily and I wanted to talk about it, you know, just &#039;cause. Just Cause 2.  SouthPeak and Paradox Interactive have resolved their distribution issue. The injunction was filed last month as a result of Paradox claiming that SouthPeak owed them over half a million dollars from sales of Paradox&#039;s games. Paradox asserted at the time that SouthPeak was \"insolvent.\" In the statement released yesterday, SouthPeak said that \"SouthPeak has demonstrated its financial stability and both parties are delighted to have established a mutually agreeable resolution to the dispute, [...] As a result, the arbitration and lawsuit will be dismissed.\"  Finally, the National Inventor&#039;s Hall of Fame has inducted Ralph Baer into their ranks (along with other inductees). Baer is best known for leading the development of what would become the Magnavox Odyssey and \"ushering in a new period of home television entertainment.\" Baer also created the first light-gun (and game) for home use called the Shooting Gallery. Baer also invented Simon, a pattern-matching game popular in the 1970s and 1980s.
